Valley North Distributing, Inc. was started because Len Alsteen, a building contractor found a need for pre-hung doors in the building industry. He rented an empty barn and started hanging doors by hand for a few local builders. As the business grew, he needed to speed up the process and found a machine that would enable him to increase production. Through the years trim, hardware, shelving and fire extinguishers were added to the list of products available. In 2010, his daughter, Angie Noe, purchased the business and added Women’s Business Enterprises (WBE) option for our contractors.
